The Queen of Tejano music is set to receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Selena Quintanilla, who died in 1995, will be honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, reported Variety.Quintanilla was just 23 years old when she was fatally shot. A ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on November 3 where Selena’s sister, Suzette, and actress Eva Longoria are scheduled to attend. Her career began in 1980 when she and her siblings started a band called “Selena y Los Dinos.” The Texan performer was awarded the 1994 Grammy for Best Mexican/American Album Live! The musical icon also received the award for Female Vocalist of the Year in 1986 at the Tejano Music Awards.
