Rossen Reports: CVS offering Super Bowl tickets and cash for vaccinations

Big prizes for vaccination
CVS Health is rewarding you for getting the COVID-19 vaccine with some pretty lavish prizes.
The pharmacy chain announced that people who plan to receive or have received a vaccine at CVS can enter its new "One Step Closer" sweepstakes and win one of more than 1,000 prizes.
- Cash giveaways ranging from $500 to $5,000.
- Seven-day cruises on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
- VIP trip for two to Super Bowl LVI.
- 2022 NCAA Final Four trip for two.
- VIP package for two to attend iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- Seven-night getaway at a Wyndham Resort.
- Fully escorted international smarTour for two.
How the CVS Sweepstakes works
- Eligible customers must be 18 or older
- You have to have received at least your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a CVS pharmacy or by a CVS pharmacist at an off-site clinic, long-term care facility or Return Ready clinic by no later than July 10.
Cruise lines are setting sail
The CDC is giving cruise lines greet lights to hit the waters. Cruise lines have had to submit plans on how they will welcome back passengers safely. Ships can set sail if nearly all passengers and crew members are vaccinated. But if the ship cannot require proof of vaccination, they must prove the effectiveness of their safety protocols on test cruises.
Royal Caribbean will do a two-night test cruise on June 20, departing from PortMiami in South Florida. Interested in being a volunteer? .
Disney Cruise Line will do a two-night simulation cruise on June 29, when it departs from Port Canaveral, Florida. It’s expected that Disney will be using cast members (employees from the company) for this test cruise.
Carnival has three home ports: Texas' Port of Galveston and Florida's PortMiami and Port Canaveral. It is in the midst of planning its test cruise from Port Canaveral, which could be by the end of June or early July. Carnival hasn’t said yet how it will take volunteers, but for news as it develops.
Norwegian says it will require vaccinations and expects to start sailing from Seattle to Alaska in August.
