In her first interview after the scandal that saw Kevin Spacey fired from "House of Cards," Robin Wright says she "didn’t know the man" who played her on-screen husband.Wright has remained quiet since sexual misconduct allegations derailed Spacey's career. On the show, Wright will take over as the sole star of "House of Cards," as her character assumes the presidency in the final season. In an interview with the "Today" show's Savannah Guthrie, Wright unpacked her relationship with the disgraced actor."Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut," Wright told Guthrie when asked if she saw any red flags. "I didn’t know the man… I knew the incredible craftsman that he is... We were co-workers, we never socialized outside of work."She also maintained she had a professional working relationship with Spacey, and didn't personally see any concerning behavior."He was so great with me. Never disrespectful to me. That’s my personal experience," Wright said. "That is the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about."Guthrie asked Wright if it was the right move to fire Spacey from "House of Cards.""I don’t know how to comment on that. But I think at that time, the shock was so intense all over the nation for many reasons, many stories many people," Wright said. "I think that everybody felt it was respectful to back off."Wright also admitted she has not tried to contact Spacey since the scandal and has no way to reach him.
