A couple ordered pizza expecting it to arrive within a couple of hours but what they didn’t expect was to have an impromptu performance from the delivery man. Bryce, the delivery man, says he is a self-taught pianist. He tickles the ivories by day and delivers cheesy goodness by night. The 18-year-old has been playing music for 11 years. "It's always a big stress reliever to be able to just bust out some Beethoven or Mozart,” he said. So, when he arrived at a house to deliver a pizza and noticed the family had a piano, he mentioned his passion and was invited in to play a tune or two. Julie Varchetti said she wasn’t home when her husband ordered the pizza but when she arrived at her house, her husband showed the video of Bryce playing the piano. She says she immediately put it on Facebook. "Never judge a book by its cover,” she said. For a piano that Varchetti says is hardly touched, the music was stunning and went viral quickly. "This poor piano has only been 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' or 'Three Blind Mice,'” said Varchetti. “And that's about it."Bryce said it isn’t the first time he’s been asked to drop in and play a tune during deliveries, but he’s not in it for the dough. "One time where I rolled up to a house party and they had a piano and they had 30 people just standing around listening to me play and they ended up giving me a $15-tip,” he said. Varchetti said her family now plans to order more pizza after this slice of delicious music.
