LISA RECEIVED A CALL SAYING MULTIPLE SHOTS WERE FIRED FROM SEVERAL GROUPS ARE ATTENDING A PRIVATE EVENT. THEY FOUND A 23-YEARLD-O MAN SHOT AT THE SCENE. A man is dead after a shooting outside Ames Elks Lodge.The shooting happened around midnight on Douglas Avenue in Ames. Ames Police say they received a call saying multiple shots were fired from several groups attending a private event.Officers found a 23-year-old man shot at the scene.He was transported to the hospital where he later died.No other injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.Right now the name of the victim is being withheld.Anyone with information in connection to this shooting should call Ames police department at 515-239-5133.
