Missing dog reunited with owner weeks after crash that killed 3 family members
An Ohio family's dog has been found after going missing following a car crash that killed three family members.
The crash happened last week in Brown County.
The dog, Ellie, was the only survivor in a crash that claimed the lives of Robert Moler, Nick Moler and 10-year-old Cameron Moler.
A person said they saw Ellie wandering outside a Dollar Store in Bethel and then again at another location, so they decided to approach her and fed her a cheeseburger.
Ellie is currently with a family friend at the vet and is waiting to be reunited with her owner.
The search began when another woman, Katie Baker, said she was heartbroken to hear about the deadly car accident and wanted to help bring home Ellie.
Baker organized volunteers in a Facebook post shared more than 16,000 times.
Search crews donned orange vests and hit the streets and fields of Bethel, calling out to the missing dog.
