Things got emotional on Friday's installment of "Carpool Karaoke" with singer Michael Bublé, who opened up to "Late Late Show" host James Corden about his son's cancer battle.James and Michael belted out some of the crooner's biggest hits, like "Haven't Met You Yet" and "It's a Beautiful Day." They even got James' dad, Malcolm, in the car to show off his saxophone skills. But the mood turned somber after James brought up Michael's 5-year-old son, Noah, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016 at the age of 3. He is thankfully doing well now. "You've had an extremely tough couple of years," James said. "What you've gone through in the last few years ... is every parent's worst nightmare." "It's so hard to acknowledge it because it's so painful to talk about. But we got the diagnosis and that was it, man, my whole life ended," Michael responded.He went on to explain that he and his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, were told that Noah's diagnosis "was not good" and told James again that "it's too hard to talk about." Michael managed to get through his emotions and revealed that his whole family moved to L.A. and stayed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where Noah was being treated. Michael and Luisana also have son Elias, born in January 2016, and daughter Vida, born July 2018.The episode ends with Michael's plea to everyone at home to make a donation to Stand Up to Cancer, an organization that raises funds for cancer research.
