A New Mexico man confessed to breaking into apartments Friday night because his mental telepathy told him someone was tied up in a closet, police said.
In a criminal complaint, Albuquerque officers described arriving at the apartments to find Isaac Mascarenas armed with several knives both in his hands and concealed in his pockets.
While being interviewed by officers Mascarenas told police his mental telepathy led him to two apartments and caused him to break the windows to gain entry.
Mascarenas said he searched the closet using his mental telepathy but didn’t find anyone. Officers arrested him and he has been charged with aggravated burglary.
