A man is walking across the U.S. with an IV in his hand and with the hope of raising awareness and money for childhood cancer treatment and camps.
Kevin Fern was diagnosed with cancer when he was a kid and says it forced him to miss most of his school years. Now, as a survivor, he's on a mission to help kids fight cancer just like he did. His inspirational journey, called , is one that holds a special place in his heart, and is one that he says he's determined to walk completely on foot.
So far, Fern's journey has led him from southern California all the way to Boston, and it's still far from over.
