A young boy had his wish come true on Thursday.Mark "Swaggy" Lane traveled from Boston all the way to Savannah, Georgia to become the newest member of the Savannah Bananas.Lane has an extremely rare neurological condition that makes him have 200 to 300 seizures a day. With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Lane got to hang out with the Savannah Bananas Thursday. The Bananas said they were thrilled to have Lane as part of the team."It's incredible to see the genuine excitement, and just like it being such a special moment for him just makes it that much better for us as well," said Ryan Kellogg, a pitcher for the Savannah Bananas."We just see ourselves as normal dudes who just really care for our fans and for the game of baseball, but when you get to step out and have an opportunity like this, it means the world. It really gives you a good perspective for how much this game and what we do means for kids and gives them inspiration. It is hard to wrap your head around but, but it is really awesome," said Savannah Bananas player Noah Bridges.Lane said he has loved the Savannah Bananas since he saw them on social media.
