LuLaRoe to offer possible refund for defective leggings
The popular leggings company entangled in a thread of claims that the product has been unraveling at seams is now offering a solution for unsatisfied customers.
LuLaRoe announced plans to offer a refund this week for customers who are not satisfied with any purchases made between January 1, 2016 and April 24, 2017, according to Business Insider.
The company sells its products through a multi-level marketing strategy that involves selling to women through social media and “pop-up store” parties.
that two customers filed a lawsuit in March 2016 claiming that the company is misleading its customers regarding the quality of the product.
According to the lawsuit, the leggings fall apart during ordinary wear and users have found holes in the pants.
While the lawsuit was filed on March 31, 2016 the refund is stretching back further.
Those who believe their leggings are defective can file a claim with the company for a potential refund.
LuLaRoe’s website says the forms must be entered by July 31, 2017.
