THEY WERE ABLE TO TAKE A VACATION TO GREECE. WELL ALL THE FLIGHT FROM NEW ORLEANS TO JFK A WOMAN COLLAPSED FLIGHT ATTENDANTS BEGAN CALLING OUT FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. AND WNHE THERE WAS NO RESPONSE THE TWO YOUNG LADIES LEAPED TO HELP TURNS OUTHE T FEMALE PASSENGER WAS DIABETIC AND HADN’T EATEN FOR A WHIL E.AN WDE GOT IN CONTACT WITH THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ON GROUND. THEY ASKED US TO TAKE HER BLOOD PRESSURE HER PULSE AND SOME OTHER VITALS AS WELL, INCLUDING HER GLUCOSE LEVELS. AND SO WE REALIZED THAT WE DID ANALYZE THE SITUATION CORRECTLY AND WE WERE JUST REALLY GRATEFUL THAT WE WERE ABLE TO HELP HER IN THE SITUATN.IO AND THAT PHOTO SHARED ONLINE BY THE LSU HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER HAS RECEIVED ATTENTION FROM ALL OVER THE SCHOOL AND THEIR FAMILIES, OF COURSE EXTREMELY PROUD OF THEM MCNARYUS WANTS TO EVENTUALLY FOCUS ON CAROLDIOGY HEART HEALTH AND NUTRITION DUPLESSIS HAS GOALS TO BECOME AN

Louisiana State University Health New Orleans is praising two of its students for helping a passenger who fell ill on a flight.The LSU Health Sciences Center says two medical students on a flight to Greece stepped in when there was a medical emergency onboard.A call went out for medical professionals, and when no one responded, Heather Duplessis and Lauren Bagneris identified themselves as medical students and assisted a female passenger.The passenger had become lightheaded and fell due to low blood sugar and being overheated, LSU Health said.Duplessis and Bagneris calmed the patient and got her to take some juice and food and cooled her off. The two students communicated with a doctor on the ground and took her blood pressure, pulse and blood sugar.LSU Health says the patient ended up feeling much better and credits the two talented doctors in the making and their LSU medical education.Watch the video above to learn more about this story.
