There's a new animal at the Louisville Zoo.The Louisville Zoo welcomed Zemora, their new 5-year-old pygmy hippo on Friday. She came from the Jackson Zoo in Mississippi.She will be calling Gorilla Forest her new home, joining 28-year-old Maji, a male pygmy hippo. Pygmy hippos are an endangered species, and according to zoo officials, less than 3,000 remain in the wild. Pygmy hippos are smaller versions of the common hippopotamus. They can weigh between 400 to 600 pounds and grow up to 3 feet.
