IT'S THE UNIMAGINABLE SITUATION FRANCESA IS IN AFTER COVID-19 CLAIMED THE LIVES OF HER SISTER ANDBROTHER-IN-LAW. >> IT'S BEEN VERY HARD LIKE YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SET IN YET. THAT SHE'S GONE. >> WITH NO TIME TO GRIEVE, SINGLE MOTHER TOOK IN HER SISTER'S FIVE KIDS TO RAISE ALONGSIDE HER OWN SEVEN CHILDREN. THE DAYS ARE CHALLENGING, SHE WORKS FROM HOME WHILE THE KIDS DO VIRTUAL LEARNING. BUT SHE SAYS SHE WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. SHE PROMISED HER SISTER SHE WOULD KEEP THE SIPBLINGS TOGETHER. >> I THINK SHE'S FILING DOWN AND SHE'S HAPPY. >> THE HARDEST PART IS GIVING EQUAL EMOTIONAL ATTENTION TO HER OWN CHILDREN. ALONG WITH HER FOUR NIECES AND ONE NEPHEW AS THEY MOURN THE LOSS OF THEIR PARENTS. >> TRYING TO BE THERE FOR EACH ONE OF THEM, JUST TRYING TO BE THERE FOR THEM AND GIVE THEM THEIR SUPPORT. >> FRANSICA'S SISTER WAS A HEALTHCARE WORKER WHO TOOK ALL THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS BUT WITH PREEXISTING CONDITIONS THE VIRUS PROVED TOO MUCH. FRANCESA WISHES PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD T MAGNITUDE OF THE CORONAVIRUS. >> COVID IS REAL AND IT'S NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. Five children will spend this Christmas without their parents after COVID-19 took their mother in September and their father in October. Now, their aunt is raising them along with her own seven children. "It's been very hard," Francesca McCall said.McCall has been working from home while her children, along with her nieces and nephew, do virtual learning. The hardest part, she said, is showing emotional support to all of them equally. "COVID is real and it's not to be taken lightly," McCall said. "I just pray and ask God to give me strength to be strong for my nieces and my nephew and my own children."
