Theresa and Larry Caputo from 'Long Island Medium' are getting divorced

The couple have been separated since last year

"Long Island Medium" star Theresa Caputo and her husband, Larry, separated last year after 28 years of marriage, and their split was chronicled on the TLC series. Now, in a new interview, Larry has revealed the couple have decided to proceed with a divorce.Larry told TMZ he moved to Los Angeles at the end of September, and he has lived on the West Coast ever since. And he revealed to the cameras that their separation, as detailed on the show, was a three-month trial period, and now they’re officially getting a divorce. “We’re in divorce proceedings. So that’s been going on for like the last six months. It’s not finalized, I don’t know when it will be,” he said, while appearing emotional. “But that’s where we’re at. I’m doing fine, I know she’s doing well. I’m happy, we’ve moved on with our lives.” Larry also revealed that he is now seeing someone else after his split with Theresa. “I have moved on, and I’m fortunate enough to say that I have met someone special, but I’ll just leave it at that for now,” he said. But he’s not sure whether he’ll appear on "Long Island Medium" once the divorce is finalized. “That’s a good question, I don’t really know what the status is,” he said. “All I could say is, fans are going to have to tune in and watch. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be involved anymore.” On "Long Island Medium," Theresa was open about what led to their split. “I mean, the tension was so bad here in the house, and it’s something that happened over time. It’s nothing that happened overnight,” she said. “People can say whatever they want — it was my work, it was this, it was that — it was just, it happened. This is something that has happened over the years, and it is sad, and it f----ing sucks. That’s it.” Watch his full interview below:
