"Hot mug shot guy" Jeremy Meeks hit headlines a few years back after on their Facebook page. The thing is, Facebook users were more captivated by his perfect bone structure than his crime.
Naturally, despite the fact he'd been convicted of possessing firearms and was serving time in prison.
Fast forward a few years and Meeks gets released from prison, and a , and you could ever imagine. But it seems like it's not all smooth sailing for Meeks, because he was recently deported from the United Kingdom while attempting to do some UK-based fashion shoots.
reports the 32-year-old father-of-two arrived at London's Heathrow airport on Tuesday along with his manager, Jim Jordan, and his wife Melissa, intending to spend a week in London to shoot various magazine covers.
But he never made it to his shoots, and his manager said it was because he was detained by UK border officials and then banned from entering the country. Apparently Meeks was carrying the necessary paperwork along with a letter signed by his parole officer to authorize his trip, but immigration was still having none of it.
Speaking to the , Jim Jordan said: "He wasn’t arrested, but they deported him out of the country. They wouldn’t let him come into the country. He is really upset. He was police-escorted onto the plane."
Jeremy was put on a flight back to LA yesterday, while his wife and manager remain in the Britain.
