In late August , a line of $5 bottles of wine, and they're finally available. Danielle Tullo taste tested all of them, and found you get more than your money's worth.
The line, which includes a red blend, cabernet, pinot grigio, chardonnay, and moscato, doesn't disappoint. It's hard to believe that they're all only $5.
Here they are, ranked by deliciousness, plus what vino's should know about each bottle:
1. Red Blend
One sip of this red blend, and you'll be thinking, There's no way this is only $5. It's smooth with cherry notes and a hint of spice. Fair warning: This is a very dark red that stains teeth easily.
2. Cabernet
This cabernet is very juicy with a flavor profile of cherry, vanilla, and toasted oak. It tastes like a cozy fall night — and also like an expensive wine you would only drink if you were out to a fancy dinner.
3. Chardonnay
This traditional California chardonnay has a crisp and oaky finish. Its aroma is filled with creamy peaches, fruit, and apples.
4. Moscato
This moscato is sweet but not overbearing and has a delicious aroma of creamy peach and melon flavors.
5. Pinot Grigio
The California Roots pinot grigio tasted sweeter than the brand's moscato, so if you like sweet, grab a bottle of this. It's fruity with pear and peach aromas.
