The Iowa women's basketball program will retire Caitlin Clark's No. 22 jersey during a ceremony this season, the program announced Wednesday.The Hawkeyes will retire the No. 22 on Feb. 2, 2025, when the team plays USC. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on FOX.Clark became a Hawkeye legend over her four-year career in Iowa City, leaving as the all-time leading scorer in Division I college basketball and taking the team to back-to-back national championship game appearances. She was named national player of the year twice, winning both the Wooden Award and Naismith Award in her junior and senior seasons.Clark became the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and won the Rookie of the Year award, setting the league's single-game and single-season assist records along the way.Iowa currently holds a 9-2 record in its first season post-Clark.
