As high pressure shifts eastward and low pressure builds in the mountain west we'll see our winds pick up Saturday with gusts upwards of 30 mph. Though the winds will be annoying, they'll help drive our temperatures into the low-70s Saturday and mid- to upper-70s Sunday.
Winds will taper back some Sunday before picking right back up Monday and Tuesday.
An area of low pressure will push through the state mainly dry Sunday, with any shower chances largely in northern and eastern Iowa. Behind this area of low pressure and its associated cold front temperatures will take a dip into the low-60s Monday and upper-50s Tuesday.
A developing area of low pressure will push through Missouri by midweek helping to shift our winds out of the south and again push our temperatures back into the upper-60s to low-70s, which is where we'll stay through the end of the week.
