After today's abundant warmth, more wind will blow seasonal temperatures back into Iowa tomorrow.
A northwest breeze will start gusting around 30 mph late tonight, and clouds will increase. Those clouds will linger early Monday morning before clearing toward midday.

The winds will remain, though, topping out at 30-40 mph at times through the day. Temperatures will only peak in the 50s to 60° — more typical for mid-April.
Lastly, isolated rain is possible from an upper-level low passing by us through Minnesota. These spotty showers and storms will drift into northwest Iowa as soon as 1-2 p.m., then move southeast into the evening hours. The chance of rain is 20-30% at any given spot tomorrow.
The blustery winds will last into Tuesday before high pressure comes by Tuesday evening.
Wednesday, the breeze picks up again, now from the southeast.
Rain returns as soon as late Wednesday night, then storms are possible Thursday. There's some potential for severe weather the second half of Thursday when the warm sector of an approaching low-pressure system nudges into western Iowa.
The next best chance for soaking rain is early next week toward Sunday/Monday.
