NOW. THAT IS THE SOUND OF A LOT OF HAIL FALLING IN MARSHALLTOWN EARLIER THIS EVENING, AS STORMS ROLLED THROUGH. THIS WAS SENT TO US BY CHRIS ENGLER, AND BETH SALZMAN SENT THIS IN TO SHOW JUST HOW BIG THAT HAIL WAS. AS YOU CAN SEE. I MEAN, BIGGER THAN PEBBLE SIZE. WE’RE LOOKING AT MARBLE SIZED HAIL THERE. HEAVY HAIL ALSO FELL WEST OF US IN AUDUBON COUNTY. TERRY HARRIS SENT THIS TO US FROM IRA. ALL THAT HAIL, IF YOU JUST LOOK AT IT QUICKLY, IT LOOKS LIKE A WHOLE BUNCH OF SNOW FELL. GOSH. AND THIS IS WHAT FELL IN FORT DODGE. JANET BARON SENT US THIS PICTURE. AND ONCE AGAIN, I MEAN, THAT LOOKS LIKE A BUNCH OF SNOW IF YOU LOOK AT IT QUICKLY. BUT SHE SAYS IT RANGED FROM PEA SIZE TO MARBLES TO QUARTERS.
