For most of the day it has been gloomy and showery. We are in a brief break now from the shower activity for central Iowa, but more showers are possible overnight tonight.

Stormy weather should be focused into southeast Iowa. An isolated stronger storm is possible in far southeast Iowa this evening, thunder and lightning most likely in southern Iowa, otherwise just on and off showers for most of the state this evening.
At 3:40 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for far southeastern Iowa, including Keokuk County. The watch is in effect until 11 p.m. Sunday.
The rain will wrap up by early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will be breezy with northwest winds. A mix of sun and clouds returns for tomorrow.
70s are back on Tuesday along with rain and storm chances.
A few unsettled days are possible this week with Thursday also being another day that brings another chance for rain and storms.
