A tradition that started more than 40 years ago in Stuart has grown into a nationwide network of dozens of family and friends who vacation together. Four couples — Nancy and Trent Sturm, Sharon and Bill Sloss, Vicki and Alan Taylor and Connie and Jerry Vitzthum — started their "Friday Night Club" in 1980 as a reason to get together when they had young children. Those children are grown now, and some have children of their own. Thirty-eight members of the "Friday Night Club" traveled this week to Los Angeles for Iowa's football game against UCLA at the Rose Bowl. Hear from the Friday Night Club in the video above.
