Anticipate tricky road conditions tomorrow due to a potential blizzard.

Around 7 a.m., the Iowa Department of Transportation reported a crash along I-80 near the Walnut area. Eastbound lanes are blocked by emergency vehicles assisting a car that's stuck in a ditch. No delays are being reported. Drivers are waking up to wet roads across Central Iowa after a system of thunderstorms moved in overnight. Additional rain will be falling later this afternoon. That precipitation is preventing Iowa DOT snow plows from treating the roads ahead of blizzard-like conditions expected tonight into tomorrow morning. Drivers should check road conditions on the Iowa DOT's 511 site before heading out the door tomorrow.Downtown commuters should continue to expect an increase in traffic as the Iowa Girl's State Basketball Tournament continues throughout the week at Wells Fargo Arena.
