Cyclones crack Top 10 in latest AP poll
After a 28-16 win at West Virginia on Saturday, the undefeated Iowa State Cyclones have cracked the Top 10 in the College Football AP Top 25 poll for Week 8.
Now sitting at No. 9, the Cyclones are 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 play, Iowa State's first 6-0 start since 1938.
The Cyclones were previously in the No. 11 spot.

This week, Iowa State hosts UCF (1-2 in Big 12, 3-3 overall) in Ames with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
While not in the Top 25, the Iowa Hawkeyes (2-1 in Big Ten, 4-2 overall) are continuing to receive votes (29).
The Hawkeyes took a commanding 40-16 win over Washington this week and will play at Michigan State on Saturday.
