The team has already tied the program record of nine wins, set multiple times but most recently in 2020.Next, a win over the Wildcats would likely mean a trip to the Big 12 Championship Game next week in Arlington, Texas. Iowa State has played in the league's championship game just once, a 2020 defeat at the hands of Oklahoma that came down to the final drive.
