YEAH, I KNOW THE SHEEP. YEAH, THE SHEEP BARN. OKAY, WELL, NOW IS THE TIME THAT WE KNOW THE THEME FOR IOWA’S BIGGEST EVENT, THE THEME FOR NEXT YEAR’S FAIR IS FAIR. SWEET FAIR. SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY WE WERE THERE ENJOYING ALL THE FOOD AND THE FUN OF THE 2024 FAIR. THE 2025 IOWA STATE FAIR WILL BE HELD

It's never too early to start thinking about the next Iowa State Fair. Fair officials on Thursday announced the 2025 theme — "Fair Sweet Fair" — just under 11 months from the start."Celebrate Fair Sweet Fair with all the foods you crave, the rides or games that make you smile and the competitions or entertainment that light up your soul," the fair said on its website. The fair set an all-time attendance record last month when 1,182,682 went through the gates over its 11-day run. That's the largest crowd in its 170-year history. The next Iowa State Fair is scheduled to run Aug. 7-17. A list of previous themes can be found here.
