Iowa school sets Guinness Record for most twins

Valley Southwoods Freshman High School in West Des Moines has 16 sets of twins this year, which is a new Guinness World Record.
School officials said they received word from Guinness' London office that they have successfully set the new Guinness World Records title for Most Twins in the Same Academic Year at One School.
Five sets of twins are identical.
The previous record was 13 sets of twins at Pomperaug High School in Connecticut in 2009-2010.
School officials said the twins are Hanna and Julia Anderson; Quintin and Mason Barr; Megan and Hannah Baysinger; Hannah and Noah Clark; Jade and Logan Davis; Roman and Giavanna Dean; Hunter and Carson Feldman; Anna and Samuel Freihage; Jacob and Jeffrey Goetz; Emma and Sara Goff; Cole and Logan Harvey; Emily and Allison Kacer; Joseph and Joshua McVey; Cole and Cory Mullins; Kaylee and Kyle Olson and Kayla and Lauren Phalen.
Valley Southwoods has an enrollment of 711 students.
