Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley spoke about her support for Israel and its people on her most recent stop in Iowa.

The former United Nations ambassador said if she were president, she would do anything in her power to support Israel.
"I would tell Israel, whatever it is you need to not just get your country back, [but] to eliminate the terrorists, we should do," Haley said. "Because Hamas saying 'Death to America' is a threat to us. It is in our best interest to make sure that they are not doing anything that would harm Americans or harm our friends."
Haley said there's no room for negotiation with the Hamas terrorist group.
"You can't change the culture of a regime no matter how much money you give them," she said. "This is a regime that says 'Death to America,' 'Death to Israel' every day. They don't even try and hide it. You should never try and negotiate with terrorists."
Several Iowans at the event said Haley would make a strong presidential candidate with her experience in foreign affairs.
"She's pretty well-educated, and yeah, I think she would make a good president," Joyce Hiebert said.
"I think she would do a good job with that. Also, she did great in South Carolina," Janan Swanson said.
Haley said the first step in supporting Israel is removing any taxpayer dollars going towards supporters of Palestine or Palestinian organizations supporting Hamas at the United Nations.
