BEAU BOWMAN IS LIVE AT THE AIRPORT, WHERE FANS ARE GETTING BACK FROM ALBANY AND HOPPING ON FLIGHTS FOR CLEVELAND, BO. WELL, BEN, IT’S BEEN LESS THAN 24 HOURS SINCE THE IOWA WOMEN PUNCHED THEIR TICKET TO THE FINAL FOUR, AND NOT EVEN ALL THE IOWA FANS ARE BACK IN THE STATE YET. BUT THEY’RE ALREADY LAYING THE GROUNDWORK FOR A TRIP TO THE FINAL FOUR. THE NETS AT THE ELITE EIGHT HAVE BEEN STRIPPED FROM THE RAM, AND HAWKEYE FANS ARE MAKING THEIR WAY HOME FROM ALBANY AFTER THE HAWKEYES STAR STUDDED EPIC REMATCH WITH LSU. I RAN INTO TED LASSO AND GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM. I WOULD SAY THAT MOST OF THE HAWKS FANS WEREN’T FROM IOWA, AND SO WE KIND OF FELT LIKE CELEBRITIES BEING FROM IOWA, YOU’D BE LIKE, WHERE ARE YOU FROM? OR WHY ARE YOU HERE? AND WE’RE LIKE, OH, WE’RE ACTUALLY FROM IOWA. AND THEY’RE LIKE, SERIOUSLY? TATE FELTON IS FRESH OFF A PLANE FROM CHARLOTTE AND IS CONSIDERING MAKING THE TRIP UP TO TO CLEVELAND FOR THE FINAL FOUR. YOU ROOT FOR HIM THROUGH THICK AND THIN, AND YOU NEVER THINK THAT THEY’LL MAKE IT TO LIKE THE NATIONAL STAGE, YOU KNOW, ALWAYS PRETTY GOOD AT WHATEVER SPORT, BUT NEVER TO LIKE THE ELITE LEVEL. AND SO IT’S KIND OF SURREAL. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT’S GOING TO. YES. SCOTT BLAHA ZOOMED WITH US FROM THE AIRPORT WHILE HE WAITED FOR HIS FLIGHT TO BOARD. HE WAS IN THE EIGHTH ROW MONDAY NIGHT AT THE ELITE EIGHT. MAN, IT’S BEEN ALMOST 365 DAYS OF WAITING TO GET THAT MATCH. UM, AND I JUST I CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN HOW AWESOME IT WAS LAST NIGHT. BLAHA WAS AT THE FINAL FOUR IN DALLAS LAST YEAR AND SAID HE CAN’T PASS UP THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO BACK AND WATCH CAITLIN CLARK, GABBY MARSHALL AND KATE MARTIN ONE MORE TIME. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU’RE GOING TO GET BACK HERE. AND IT’S SO HARD TO GET TO THE FINAL FOUR. I MEAN, YOU KNOW, IT COULD BE 20 YEARS FROM NOW AND, YOU KNOW, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO WAIT 20 YEARS TO GO TO THE FINAL FOUR? DO YOU WANT TO GO NOW? TICKETS ON TICKETMASTER ASTOR ABSOLUTELY SOARING RIGHT NOW. IT’S THE CHEAPEST SEAT AT THE SEMIFINAL GAME COMING UP HERE ON FRIDAY IS LOOKING TO BE ABOUT $450. IF YOU ADD ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
