A leg injury at Kids Day at Kinnick Stadium put a scare into Hawkeye fans, but so far, there's no indication Cade McNamara will be sidelined for the 2023 season opener.McNamara, the highly touted transfer quarterback from Michigan, was listed atop the Iowa football depth chart Monday when it was released.As expected, Noah Shannon is not listed on the depth chart. Shannon was suspended for the season as part of an investigation into sports wagering that has implicated over a dozen student-athletes at Iowa and Iowa State. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said the school would appeal the suspension.The Hawkeyes kick off the 2023 season at 11 a.m. Saturday.
