GOVERNOR A LIAR. YEAH, TODD, THE FORMER UN AMBASSADOR, SAYS SHE HAS NOT RESORTED TO NEGATIVE ATTACKS ON HER OPPONENTS. BUT WITH THE IOWA CAUCUSES LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY, SHE’S NOT HOLDING BACK. STANDING IN FRONT OF A PACKED RESTAURANT IN ALTOONA, 30 DAYS UNTIL THE CAUCUS, FORMER UN AMBASSADOR NIKKI HALEY MADE HER PITCH TO VOTERS WITH JUST ONE MONTH LEFT UNTIL THE IOWA CAUCUSES. IF YOU JOIN WITH ME IN THIS FIGHT, I PROMISE YOU OUR BEST DAYS ARE YET TO COME. THE GOP HOPEFUL TALKED POLICY AND TOOK QUESTIONS FROM VOTERS ABOUT ISSUES LIKE FARMING AND INFRASTRUCTURE. HALEY ALSO MENTIONED FLORIDA GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS BY NAME, SAYING HE HASN’T BEEN TELLING THE TRUTH. YOU HAVEN’T HEARD ME IN ANY TOWN HALLS. THE PRESS CAN TELL YOU I HAVE NOT TALKED NEGATIVELY ABOUT ANYBODY. BUT IF YOU’VE GOT TO LIE TO WIN, YOU DON’T DESERVE TO WIN. HALEY’S COMMENTS ABOUT HER OPPONENT COME AS THE TWO ARE BATTLING IT OUT FOR SECOND PLACE BEHIND FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP. DESANTIS WAS ALSO IN IOWA THIS WEEKEND, SPEAKING WITH VOTERS HOPING TO STRENGTHEN HIS SUPPORT AS WELL. WITH ME, YOU HAVE SOMEBODY, UH, THAT IS EARNING IT THAT IS SHOWING UP, ANSWERING QUESTIONS, UH, DOING WHAT IT TAKES, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU DESERVE. SOMEBODY THAT SHOWS UP. A NEW CBS POLL SHOWS HIM POLLING AT 22% IN THE HAWKEYE STATE, SECOND BEHIND TRUMP, WHO SITS AT 58%. BUT THE NUMBERS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE TELL A DIFFERENT STORY. HALEY IS IN SECOND PLACE. THEY’RE POLLING AT 29%, 15 PERCENTAGE POINTS BEHIND THE FORMER PRESIDENT IN THE GRANITE STATE GOING INTO NEW HAMPSHIRE, WE JUST GOT THE LIVE FREE OR DIE GOVERNOR’S ENDORSEMENT, WHICH I’M THRILLED ABOUT. BOTH HALEY AND DESANTIS CONFIRMED THEY WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE CNN DEBATE ON JANUARY 10TH IN DES MOINES. TRUMP HAS NOT SAID IF HE’LL BE THERE YET, AND FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN HELD A COMMIT TO CAUCUS EVENT IN WAUKEE THIS EVENING.
