no, a swinger made quite the entrance at steve Shore Elementary today. A motorcade of Metro black and whites bringing him to school and honor. He did not see coming. He just found out we just surprised and he was very surprised. It overwhelms him because he just, he appreciates it and he just, it's his, he has a lot of family and we have a lot of friends. But this is his connection to his dad on the police department. So it means a lot to him that they're all here for and they're all here for him because his dad, Jason swagger, one of their squad out of the enterprise area command passed away from Covid just two months ago. Every call that he went on was his most important call. He was thorough, he was carrying, he had compassion for people on calls and at the end of the shift when we're all ready to go, he'd be like, I gotta finish this call, I gotta help this. You know, I got to help this person out. It was actually the first squad that he felt a part of it. You know, it's hard to, there's a lot of guys on there, a lot of different personalities and I think this was the first squad. He actually felt like he fit in and belonged. Noah, just waiting for his first day of fourth grade and by all accounts, an excellent student prepared with a hand tied necktie, a metro badge at a big thank you for what is now and forever. His extended family. Thank you for coming out. Officer, swinger Jason swagger. He was really important to us and he's been our squad. He's in my academy, so known about seven years. Really good guy, really good family. And there's nobody that looked up to him more than his son and nobody I feel he was closer with than his son. Um, so it's very, very touching since his passing our relationship with his family and we were just happy to come out here and And be here for them. I just want to tell him thank you to all metro, but especially to enterprise area, command squad 24, they have been there through everything and I know they'll continue to be and it really means a lot to my whole family, but especially no one myself. So we appreciate it.
