A hiker on California's Pacific Crest Trail required urgent help on Sunday.The woman slipped off the edge of a cliff and found herself clinging to a rock. In a precarious situation, she managed to send a text to 911 for assistance.The Riverside County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit quickly responded to the scene. A rescuer bear-hugged the exhausted hiker to prevent her from falling further down the cliff and then helped her to safety.Watch the dramatic rescue in the video player above.
