This gross experiment is here to remind you of the importance of hand washing

This experiment proves we all seriously need to keep on top of washing our hands!

In case you forgot how important it is to wash your hands, take one look at this experiment and you'll never forget to do it again.Teacher Donna Gill Allen posted a photograph on Facebook of an experiment she carried out with the kids in her class, in an attempt to teach them about germs and how they spread."You use three pieces of bread," explained Donna, on the post which went viral after she uploaded it last month. She went on to explain that the first piece of bread was put in the bag using gloves, making it the 'control' bread. The second piece of bread was bagged after Donna washed her hands, hence it was labelled the 'clean hands' piece of bread; and the third piece of bread was passed around every child in the class - without having washed their hands - so it was labelled the 'dirty hands' piece of bread."Watch how the bread changes over time due to germs," wrote Donna. And frankly, it's disgusting. The piece of bread that was touched by various unwashed hands was absolutely crawling with mold and bacteria after a while, whereas the other two slices remained intact. What it proves, without a doubt, is that we seriously need to keep on top of washing our hands.
