Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds is in Greenfield today, one day after a deadly tornado swept through the Adair County town of 2,000 people.VIDEO ABOVE: Watch full news conference in Greenfield after deadly tornado"It is just horrific," Reynolds said at a news conference Wednesday morning.Officials said there were multiple deaths from Tuesday's tornado but were unable to confirm an exact number. Iowa State Patrol Sgt. Alex Dinkla said they're still treating the situation "as a search mission." Four people were air-lifted out of town Tuesday. Reynolds said the tornado "could've been devastating" if schools hadn't let out early Tuesday, since students would've been just getting out of school as the tornado arrived. School is canceled for the rest of the year and the building will be used as a makeshift hospital and shelter.WATCH: Drone video shows destruction, path of deadly Greenfield tornadoReynolds declared a disaster proclamation for 15 Iowa counties due to Tuesday's severe storms, including Adair County. The disaster proclamation activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Advocacy Program for storm victims.
