It looks like Kim Reynolds just won a free meal.The Iowa governor had a friendly wager with her counterpart in Nebraska on the annual Heroes Game rivalry between the Hawkeyes and Cornhuskers, which Iowa won on a last-second field goal.Before the game, Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen posted a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, challenging Reynolds to a "friendly bet" on the game."Our biggest game of the year against our archrival, Iowa," Pillen said in the video. "And Nebraska doesn't like to lose to Iowa."Pillen challenged Reynolds to a friendly bet, where the governor of the losing team's state has to pay for lunch for the winning team's governor.It didn't take long for Reynolds to agree."Governor Pillen, I accept your challenge," Reynolds said in a video on X. "The Hawkeyes and Kirk Ferentz are ready to go, it's our turn this year."Iowa's victory capped off a 10-2 regular season. The Hawkeyes will take on the winner of Michigan vs. Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game.
