A 41-year-old love letter is back in the hands of its rightful owner after it was found flickering down a street.Chris Bowers said he was walking down East Central Boulevard in Orlando, Florida, earlier this month when he found the folded yellow paper.“I thought it looked interesting, so I picked it up out of curiosity and the first thing that jumped out at me is it said Jan. 17, 1977, on it,” Bowers said.Bowers said that because it appeared to be so well-kept, he assumed it must be important to someone.He posted the letter on the Nextdoor app and neighbors quickly realized it likely belongs to a woman who had her suitcase stolen from her car earlier in March.The letter was written by Sarah Crow’s father to her mother.Both of her parents have died and she had just received the suitcase from a relative.
