Garza sweeps postseason awards, becomes consensus unanimous national player of the year
Iowa Hawkeye Luka Garza solidified his status Tuesday as the 2021 consensus unanimous national player of the year.Garza won the 2021 John R. Wooden Award Tuesday, completing a clean sweep of every major college basketball award in the country.In addition to the Wooden Award, Garza was named Naismith Men's College Player of the Year, Associated Press men's college basketball national player of the year, NABC Division I Player of the Year, Lute Olson Player of the Year, Sporting News Player of the Year and winner of the Oscar Robertson trophy.

Iowa Hawkeye Luka Garza solidified his status Tuesday as the 2021 consensus unanimous national player of the year.
