First official footage of eighth season of 'Game of Thrones'' has been unveiled
The first official footage of the eighth season of "Game of Thrones'" has been unveiled. The clip teases Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen's arrival in Winterfell and Daenerys' first face-to-face encounter with Sansa Stark.
The latest clip also features teasers from other highly-anticipated HBO shows returning soon, like Meryl Streep's appearance in "Big Little Lies" and "True Detective."
The "GoT" faceoff looks tense, to say the least.
"Winterfell is yours, your grace," Sansa tells Dany, and she doesn't look too happy about it. Brienne of Tarth, guarding Lady Stark, and Ser Jorah Mormont, accompanying his khaleesi, also make appearances.
Entertainment Weekly that this is how Season 8 . The outlet published in November:
"Season 8 opens at Winterfell with an episode that contains plenty of callbacks to the show’s pilot. Instead of King Robert’s procession arriving, it’s Daenerys and her army. "GoT" fans previously got a in an earlier HBO promo highlighting the network's 2019 projects. The quick shot shows Sansa giving Jon a hug begrudgingly.
"Game of Thrones" returns for its next and final season in April. The exact date of the season premiere has still not been announced.
