You've probably already heard that after five seasons of shiplap and wise cracks, Joanna and Chip Gaines are saying "goodbye" to their hit show, Fixer Upper. "It is with both sadness and expectation that we share the news that season five of Fixer Upper will be our last," they wrote on their blog. Sure, we're bummed, but we're also prepared to make the most of the final episodes, complete with watch parties and a ban on double screening — and we think you should too. To get you excited, here's everything we already know about season five.1. The Gaines are leaving to focus on their family. Even though rumors have been swirling about why the Gaines are quitting the show, there's no drama: "For people, they think there's got to be a reason, like, 'Oh, something bad happened and therefore that's why they're leaving the show.' I think it's just hard for people to comprehend, no, we're just leaving because it's right instinctively for us and our family. No negative reason," Joanna told The Huffington Post. 2. But it's still bittersweet for them."While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it has for sure not been an easy one to come to terms with. Our family has grown up alongside yours, and we have felt you rooting us on from the other side of the screen. How bittersweet to say goodbye to the very thing that introduced us all in the first place," they wrote on their blog.3. The last season premieres on Tuesday, November 21. It'll consist of 14 new episodes and four new specials. So you can slowly say goodbye to the Gaines over the course of quite a bit of time. 4. Bookshelves are going to be everywhere.Joanna has been sharing sneak peeks of what viewers can expect to see in the upcoming season, including four very different shelves that prove books are a huge trend this season.5. Laura Bush and Tim Tebow will make an appearance. While there's no word on what these two celebrities will be doing during their appearances on the show, we do know that they'll be seen at some point during season five. 6. And so will Joanna's sister. Prepare yourself: Joanna says her favorite makeover of all time will take place this season, which her and Chip did for her sister and her family of seven, going on eight. 7. There will be a few walks down memory lane. Joanna teased on Instagram that Chip and her visited the house from their pilot episode with a crew of cameras, so we have a feeling we'll have a few opportunities to feel sentimental about the end of the show.8. Don't expect the Gaines to hold anything back."We are really, really proud of season five. We laid it all on the field and didn't hold anything back.
