On Wednesday night, SpaceX made history by launching the first all-civilian crew into space. Just before 8:03 p.m. ET, Inspiration4 successfully blasted off from Florida's Space Coast.There was beautiful clear weather for the history-making event.Unlike the recent billionaire flights of Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson that went into sub-orbit for a few minutes, Inspiration4 is going the distance, beyond even the International Space Station for three days.The four people onboard are unique and include a billionaire, a cancer survivor, a geologist and a raffle winner.The mission to space is vital for people on the ground because it is also a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.One of the main goals of the Inspiration4 mission is to raise $200 million for kids with cancer and life-threatening illnesses.Watch the video above to see the first all-civilian crew fly into space.
