Josh Peck didn't invite Drake Bell to his wedding

Drake Bell said that "ties are officially cut"

Like all childhood stars, the duo that fronted the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh are now all grown up, married (well at least one of them), and apparently no longer speaking to each other. Their bromance died, according to Drake Bell’s Twitter feed, because he didn't get invited to Josh Peck's Malibu wedding to longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien. According to People, the couple said “I do” on Saturday, June 17 in front of guests that included Josh’s Grandfathered co-stars John Stamos and Nicole Golfieri, who posted this lovely photo of the bride and groom. Drake, meanwhile, took to Twitter to reveal that he wasn’t invited to the nuptials, even though he was in nearby Los Angeles. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear,” he wrote. “True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.” The tweets have since been deleted but expert fans were quick to make handy screenshots, which will live on the internet forever. According to E! News, Drake went on to write, “Loyalty is key... ALWAYS remember where you came from,” but those have also been deleted. This cryptic tweet, written the next day, remains on his feed but it’s unclear if Drake was referring to the suit he was going to wear to Josh’s wedding or something completely unrelated.Naturally, longtime fans are having a hard time with the apparent wedding snub.Drake & Josh went off air in 2007 after four seasons on Nickelodeon. In early 2016, the guys had a mini reunion when Drake guest starred on Josh’s show Grandfathered on FOX. Speaking to MTV at the time, Drake said, “It was completely like old times. When we got on set, we were both a little worried. We had hung out and stayed in touch over the years, but we hadn’t worked together or tried to be funny together. So we were kind of nervous about whether we were going to be able to pick it up. But honestly, the first scene we sat down to do, it was like BAM. It felt like we were together yesterday. We just fell right back into it.” He also spoke about a potential Drake & Josh revival, which would also involve co-stars Miranda Cosgrove, Yvette Nicole Brown, and other faves. “We're like a family. So we would love to come back and reprise the characters and see where they are," he said. "Josh could come home to visit the parents with his kids and his wife, and he's got a great job, and Drake comes downstairs and he's wearing the same clothes and still living with his parents. I think that would be pretty awesome.” Along with your childhood, it's pretty safe to say R.I.P. this idea as well.
