OPHELIA. THEY MUST BE VERY PROUD RIGHT ABOUT NOW. YEAH, BEN, THEY REALLY ARE. AND WHEN PEOPLE SAY, GRAB YOUR POPCORN FOR THIS GAME, THEY REALLY MEANT IT. EVERYONE WAS ON THE EDGE OF THEIR SEATS, DOWLING CATHOLIC RENTED OUT ONE OF THE AUDITORIUMS HERE AT THE PALMS IN WAUKEE TO WATCH THEIR VERY OWN CAITLIN CLARK AND HER TEAM SHINE ON THE COURT. A STANDING OVATION FOR THE IOWA HAWKEYES AND THEIR BIG WIN AGAINST THE LSU TIGERS MONDAY NIGHT. DOWLING CATHOLIC RALLYING BEHIND THEIR HOMETOWN HERO. LET’S GO HAWKS. THE DOWLING CATHOLIC STUDENT COUNCIL RENTED OUT THIS THEATER TO WATCH ALL OF THE ACTION UNFOLD ON THE BIG SCREEN, TO BE FROM THE SAME DOWLING FAMILY IS JUST AN INCREDIBLE PRIVILEGE FOR US, SHE BUILT UP A BIG LEGACY AT DOWLING AND THAT’S JUST WHAT WE REMEMBER. AND HOPEFULLY SOMEDAY SOME OF US WILL TRY TO LIVE UP TO THAT LEGACY. STUDENTS, FAMILIES, FACULTY AND STAFF WERE ON THE EDGE OF THEIR SEATS ALL NIGHT LONG, AND EACH TIME THE HAWKEYES SCORED, THEY CELEBRATED TOGETHER, MAKING SURE THEIR CHEERS WERE HEARD ALL THE WAY IN ALBANY. YEAH, YEAH, I WOULD JUST KIND OF WEATHERED THE STORM AND KEPT DEFENDING AND REBOUNDER. SO THEY PLAYED A GREAT GAME OVERALL. CAITLIN’S FORMER HIGH SCHOOL COACH, KRISTEN MEYER, WAS ALSO IN THE CROWD. SHE SAYS IT’S SURREAL TO SEE HOW FAR THE TEAM IS MAKING IT IN THE TOURNAMENT. YEAH, AND HEADED INTO THE FINAL FOUR. NO MATTER WHERE I’M AT, I WILL BE WATCHING. I DON’T KNOW IF I’LL GO OUT TO CLEVELAND OR WATCH IT HERE, BUT EITHER WAY, I’LL MAKE SURE TO BE CHEERING FOR CAITLIN. THE DOWLING CATHOLIC COMMUNITY WANTS CAITLIN TO KNOW THEY HAVE HER AND THE ENTIRE TEAM’S BACK. AND WE DON’T KNOW YET IF THE DOWLING CATHOLIC COMMUNITY WILL BE BACK HERE AT THE PALMS THEATER WHEN THEY TAKE ON WHOEVER WINS THAT GAME. THAT’S GOING ON RIGHT NOW IN THE FINAL FOUR. BUT WHAT WE DO KNOW IS THAT THEY’LL SURE BE CHEERING HER ON ALL THE WAY LIVE IN WAUKEE.
