Former President Donald Trump returned to Iowa for the eighth time in a little over a month Sunday.He took the stage in Sioux City, a place he mistakenly called Sioux Falls.Trump filled his time on stage talking about a number of topics, such as his opponent, Ron DeSantis, farming, the economy and Israel.Trump defended his policies in the Middle East during his time as president."I kept my promise, recognized Israel's eternal capital, and opened the American Embassy in Jerusalem," Trump said. "I also recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. I've been talking about it for 72 years, I got it done in about 12 minutes. And I withdrew from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal," Trump said.Trump also discussed the impacts of the Israel-Hamas war at home, as people all across the country have held rallies and protests in response to the war. "All of the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests all over this country, all over the world, this month. Come 2025, you'll find that we will deport you because these are people that are against our country," Trump said.
