JUST A REALLY HEARTBREAKING SITUATION. BO. THANK YOU. MEANTIME, A WOMAN ACCUSED OF LEAVING TWO YOUNG KIDS ALONE IN AN UNSAFE HOME IS IN CUSTODY THIS EVENING. POLICE SAY 5141 YEAR-OLD, AMANDA MEYERS LEFT, A SIX AND SEVEN YEAR OLD IN A HOME THAT HAD DANGEROUS LIVING CONDITIONS, INCLUDING NO RUNNING WATER, FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. THE CHILDREN HAVE SINCE BEEN RELOCATED AND ARE NOW SAFE. OFFICERS ASKED FOR HELP FINDING MEYERS THIS MORNING, BUT POLICE ANNOUNCED THIS AFTERNOON SHE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. SHE’S NOW IN THE POLK COUNTY JAIL CHARGED WITH NEGLEC
