NEW TONIGHT A DES MOINES MAN IS ARRESTED AFTER HE’S ACCUSED OF ASKING FOR EXPLICIT PHOTOS FROM SOMEONE HE THOUGHT WAS A MINOR. 36 YEAR-OLD ALAN THOMAS HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR AND GROOMING. COURT RECORDS SHOW HE INITIATED CONTACT WITH THE DETECTIVE, WHO WAS POSING AS A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL, ON SOCIAL MEDIA. DOCUMENTS SHOW THOMAS REQUESTED EXPLICIT PHOTOS OF THE MINOR. A Des Moines man was arrested March 27 after allegedly asking for explicit photos from someone he thought was a minor.Allen Thomas, 36, has been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and grooming.Court records show he initiated contact with a detective who was posing as a 15-year-old girl on social media. Allen Thomas, 36, has been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and grooming.
