Masks are now required again at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines.Effective immediately, Broadlawns Medical Center is requiring all staff, patients and visitors to have a mask on in the waiting rooms.Broadlawns announced the change on Facebook on Tuesday, noting that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that Polk County currently has a high rate of transmission of respiratory illnesses like the flu, RSV and COVID-19.
