Taste of victory: Beer bragging rights on the line during Cy-Hawk tailgate
Inside the stadium on Saturday, Iowa and Iowa State battle it out to find out who reigned supreme in the state of Iowa. But outside at tailgates fans will be deciding who has the best beer in Iowa football and beer. It's what Iowa does. Introducing Exile. Swarm, Gold male and West Os Ames Lager. The two beers that directly support student athletes at Iowa and Iowa State. We are making craft beer and we are going to be, you know, using the Iowa community to improve, improve the programs. If you're sitting at home wondering how is selling beer supporting student athletes. Let me break it down. Exile and West O each partnered with N I Collectives whose objective is to support student athletes. Exile is partnered with the Swarm collective, supporting Iowa and West O has partnered with the will collect it, supporting Iowa State. The Swarm Golden Ale and the Ames Lager were made for these nil collectives. *** portion of the profits made by each brewery goes to the collective. If you had told me that when I was in high school or even in college that hey, someday you're going to be making *** beer that helps these teams win. I would have, I would have wondered what university you were living in. We're helping you get that money to the student athletes through their community. Walk into the back rooms of Exile in West O you'll be surrounded by *** sea of gold and black and Cardinal and gold cans of delicious beer. Ready to be sent out to the loyal fan bases, ready to be put on ice. My goal is to have somebody crack that beer and, and look at that can and take *** taste of it and be proud of that beer game days. Won't ever be the same. That's for sure. Out with the old name brand beers and in with the new ones, time to drink up, time to support your favorite team. What are you hoping? You know, someone says when they take *** sip of it for the first time, tastes like victory.
