Delish's recipe for Cowboy Butter, an herb dipping sauce with a kick, has people going wild. But then again, what's not to love about this tasty sauce? Butter makes everything better.Make no mistake, this is not compound butter. It's way easier. You don't need to wait for butter to soften only to roll it into a log and chill it again. Here, you're melting butter, throwing in a bunch of fragrant herbs, and calling it a day.This idea of a "Cowboy Butter" came from a little restaurant in New York City called Mr. Donahue's.
